Recommended Minimum Requirements: To be prepared to pass the General Estimating Knowledge (GEK) exam, it is advisable that the AEP candidate hold (or be working toward) a construction-related degree from a two or four-year college and/or a minimum of one year of on-the-job estimating experience.
While the AEP certification program is self-paced, candidates are required to meet the program requirements within three months. The minimum estimated time commitment is four weeks. All requirements are completed electronically through your free ASPE online profile.
The successful completion of the program requires the following:
